bought 3 boxes of these

I always feel great after drinking coconut water. Also, Trader Joe's sells the big Zico bottles for super cheap--you could buy like 3x as much for the same price compared to that GNC link.

It's gotta be better than this shit...

Small world... I haven't had a boxed coconut water before tonight...

But when I'm in BKK I have young coconuts like every other day.

O.N.E. is definitely the worst I've had. Zico and Vita Coco both taste good to me, although I've never had anything straight from the coconut, so I guess I don't know what "fresh" actually tastes like.

Yo, give me shout next time you're in town. I usually get out of town on the weekends though.

Awwww come on it's not all that bad. I go to the caribbean about twice a year, when they shimmy up a tree and cut the top off - it taste pretty cool. Usually when I'm scuba diving the guys will do this for a dollar or two at most. When your done diving or doing anything dangerous, adding ice + rum makes it even better. LoL

....Just for the LoLs, im gonna go find you guys some pix.

I ate a coconut while in Honduras and I shit my brains out for an hour.

Sounds like you ate more than coconut that day. Sounds more like food poisoning. Not from a bad coconut but rather expired food, food that wasn't cleaned right or they heard about your google hammer and they thought you could use some anal cleaning.

EDIT: forgot to add you gotta tell those fuckers, here's $2 but I want 4!!!.. They don't fucking care, the coconut is free from the tree the just gotta climb the fuck up there to get it.

I just buy young coconuts from an asian market.

Bro is it just me or did your Mouse get a beating?

Speaking from the tropics, it entirely depends on the coconut. You gotta know which one is good and bad.

There are tiny ones that are green on the tree those are fairly acidic.

There are big ones that are green on the tree those are fresh and the juice is refreshing, if you split it in half the coconut wall is edible with just a spoon.

There are big ones that are yellow on the tree or ground, the juice is fairly sweet and depending on how far along the maturing process it is, you will have soft or hard coconut walls but either way edible.

There are big ones that are brown on the ground, the juice is absolutely awful. The walls though are hard and the typical coconut you think of.

Also if you have a coconut and it's sprouting a leaf you can bury it. Even in Sand will work. Give it some water for a year or two and in 10 years you will have a fucking gigantic palm tree.

@ Luke: I was seconds from buying those actually... but was told the zinco one was better. Have you compared the two?
Nope, never tried a boxed/canned coconut juice before. I only tried this one because I'd just had a real coconut recently and wanted to compare how it tastes to the crap we get over here...

I'm sad to report that at least the O.N.E. brand tastes like it was an Old coconut's juice filtered through a dirty sock.

Its tastes like pure crap.
A real one? You're clearly getting bad coconuts man... You know they are really temperamental, right? You gotta get the right species of coconut and then the youngest one possible. Then it'll taste awesome.

So you actually paid money for a mouse that looks like it was chewed up by a cat?

What is the (perceived, I'm sure) advantage to those bitemarks? They don't seem to be in any kind of ergonomic pattern I can make out.
