He was acquitted of the most serious charge of aiding the enemy, guilty of most of the others:

Sentencing hearing begins Wed. morning. There is no mandatory minimum, and he's already been in the brig for 3 yrs. If he gets the max on all of them consecutively, it would still be over 100 yrs.

"LIO" stands for "Lesser Included Offense", where he had previously agreed to a plea bargain on some of the charges to reduce the max sentence.

Do the years add up consecutively or does he serve the highest number of years of all guilty charges?

It's really amazing that while Bush was in office everytime I would turn around, there was a news story or a post at the top of reddit with Greenwald shitting on the government.

Now, since Obama has been in office, I've seen this guy maybe 3 or 4 times tops.

Well, he's been all over the place since the Snowden thing, but also the Reddit userbase has changed a lot over time. Linux stuff used to be constantly on the front page, now it's cute pictures of animals.

When the guy on the left in the video above started talking I thought he might be gay (he's not), and it made me remember that Anderson Cooper, Greenwald, and Manning all are. There doesn't seem to be much mention of this in the mainstream media, but if a republican was president I wonder if they would try to spin it more into a homosexuals vs. republicans story.

Manning is gay? Didn't know that.

Right now, it could go either way.

The Zimmerman trial could have gone eitherway, this is no doubt going the way of lots of anal rape for Manning. No way in fuck is he getting off without some serious time. Killing a black kid is one thing, fucking with government is an entirely different thing. Manning is fucked.

Is that what he got? Funny considering those documents would have been de-classified in 25. Nobody but the .gov was hurt by this. He didnt get a fair trial; time served would have been more than fair.

Can we stop fucking tagging names already?

Anyways, read a bunch of articles quoting Manning as saying, "I'm sorry I hurt the United States." I almost spit out my coffee.

When exposing crimes by the government is treated like a crime against the government
then you're probably governed by criminals.

First part of this vid she reads the quotes from Bradley Manning appearing to be an apologist. I agree with her sentiment.
