The dumb thing is that this shouldn't be breaking news to anyone. The last 8 years of Foreign & Economic policy have pretty much FUCKED the US economic system, and there's NO ONE that can fix it, short of the US doing something REALLY bizarre, like using the space program to start harvesting fresh mineral resources, particularly precious and radioactive metals, from NEOs.

I am a chauvanistic conservative. The reality is that inbred idiots like the above give civilized conservatives a bad name. I don't personally dislike him and haven't decided who I would vote for, but it's a little anoying when he plays himself off as black to scounge votes. The news is going along with that, "obama could be the first black president".

He not black. He's bi-racial or grey or 50-50, not black and not white white.

Are you serious? And Hillary isn't trying to get all the women on her side?

When i talk to my women friends that are voting for Hillary just b/c she's a woman I just bust out l laughing. The media is going to paint a picture of everyone in a certain light since we have Obama pulling for the African American population, Hillary the women, and of course McCain for the transexuals.
 
The economy cannot be fixed in the long term because we are using a FIAT CURRENCY. The dollar will go down like the continental, puchasing power = zilch, and the rest of the world fiat currencies will follow suit.
 
We will go through hyper inflation and the question is when. The only way to fix this is to fix the amount of paper money in the economy, but this will not happen as congress just wants your votes by making promises which requires more $. Hence, they need to continue to create money out of thin air that is backed by nothing.
