at that price not sure if it'll be a hit. Plus it's a lengthy process and that tank doesn't seem to carry that much beer.

My first thought was that it would be ideal priced at something like 2k...but if it actually works as well as it looks like it does then the price isnt tooooo bad.

I want it...its one of those "toys" that dont even need to make sense, be used that often..just something to brag to the boys about. And that is probably its best selling point.

Would it be something bar owners, restaurants would be able to profit on by making their own beer for cheap?

Pretty sweet. If you drink a lot of beer, I think that's pretty reasonable for 4.5k. I know I'd buy it. It would pay for itself eventually. Plus, that's a sweet toy. Something to impress the bitches with.

I already know people who make their own beer at home how is this much different?

Don't think so. That thing is too small. Bar owners would need huge tanks. I've been to many micro-brasseries and the equipment they use is impressive.

Something to impress the bitches with.

on the contrary, I think it'll scare the bitches away. Get a Martini maker if you want to impress the females ($59)

Speaking as a homebrewer I can say that if you want to create yellow, fizzy piss water beer like Budweiser or the like, this thing might get you close. However if you want to make a beer that has any flavor and alcohol content, then using this contraption aint going to cut it.

First off, I don't see where in the process this machine boils the malt for 60+ minutes to create the "wort" (unfermented beer). You can't just throw some malt in water, toss in some yeast and seal it up. And 7 days isn't enough fermentation time, in my opinion, to make a decent beer. Plus the flavors come from conditioning of the beer over time. I personally wouldn't buy this thing even if it was a reasonable price.

the machining and electronics on that thing look pretty crappy

and why do you have to check the pressure manually
