It's about time the welfare system in this country was sorted out.
No economy can (or should) support a welfare system that allows people to stay on benefits for their entire lives, or when they're better off working.
Only this morning on Radio 4 Today programme, was someone complaining that they'd rather stay on benefits because they're "only" £17 a week better off in work.
As far as I am concerned: if you're better of in work [even by £1] then you take the job and your benefits stop.

French are protesting for retirement at 62, it's pathetic. In the western countries life average is almost 80. I see so many people over 90 in good standing. It's impossible today working for 30 years and be paid after retirement for 40 years. I want to work and pay my retirement and not to pay retirement of people at 50.
Dam right it's sickening seeing people get paid to sit on there arses living a comfortable life style with no intention of even finding a job, or having kids for the same reason.
These people should be supported but only given the absolut minimum to survive, just enough for food and rent then maybe they would be pushed to get of their arses and do something.

The people who should be out in the streets protesting on the ones that are being bled dry to support the lazy fucks sitting home watching tv while sitting on their fat asses and collecting a check.
Of course the reason they are not doing so may have a lot to do with the fact that they are actually working for a living instead of being blood sucking leeches.
How any Western country can spend money on foreign aid at this point is beyond me. Maybe it's time for Saudi Arabia and all the other oil nations enriched with their petro-dollars to start giving back while we pull ourselves back from the brink of insolvency.

As the rich country? Well, the money often come with terms favorable to political donators. For example, US president once offered Sukarno that US will build all the road in Indonesia if Indonesia only import american car. That's effectively US government taxing you to pay GM. GM then pay politicians.
However, imagine if it's not so. Maybe Indonesia have fallen to communists. When there are too many commies, you would have lost cold war and become commies too. It's complicated.

We have too many scrounging cunts on benefits, and the number grows year on year. Get the doley scum doing some hours for the local council, they can sweep the fucking streets and fill in pot holes for all I care, but they shouldnt be given money for fucking nothing. People dont go to work because they are WORSE OFF than on benefits, and they think that having to earn their money is a bad thing when they can get it for free.
Also our transport system is fucking disgraceful, unless you live in London, which seems to be the only place in the UK that gets fed money to build things. Fuck the fucking olympics too, what a fucking waste of money. ARGGHGHHH get me out of here!
