Brock Lesnar VS. Shane Carwin

Pissed I'm going to be missing this - will be interesting to see what sort of shape Brock is in after his body tried to eat itself or whatever the hell was wrong with him; but ultimately the man is a freak of nature and I can see him running all over Carwin.

Carwin made Lesnar his bitch in round 1 and they should have stopped the fight when lesnar was cowering from each bomb carwin was dropping on him.
Carwin gassed out and shot his load early and that ultimately cost him the match. Once Lesnar got on top of him, I was heading out of the bar - I knew it was over cuz Carwin would be able to defend - TOO DAMN TIRED.
It was just nice to see someone level Lesnar's cocky ass. Glad Carwin had the chops to do it.

yeah he was still a cocky bastard after the fight even though he tried to make it seem like he was more respectful. I don't care what people say... Carwin really did make brock his bitch. And don't try and say brock won the fight so it doesn't matter.

The fight should've been stopped in the first. Anyone else in that position for that long getting GnP'd would not have been given the chance to ride out the round.
Two good things came out of that fight:
1) Brock's nuthuggers very quickly shut the fuck up about Brock being able to take Fedor on major MMA forums like Sherdog. After watching Carwin (who is not known for his technically sound standup) knock him on his ass and then beat his face in for three minutes, they realized Fedor was better than Lesnar in every aspect of the game, that his size does not make him invulnerable and that he would likely get "Zulu'd" by Fedor's far superior standup.
2) Now that Carwin has tried, the only real contender left in the division that's currently signed to the UFC is Cain Velasquez, who I don't think has the size or skills to beat Lesnar. He's a smaller version of Lesnar in the same way that Carwin was a bigger version -- similar wrestling credentials, a little BJJ and not much else. His 8-0 record is padded with about 6 wins over nobodies, a win over an aged and pretty much "finished" Nog and an overrated Kongo.
It won't take long for White to notice he can't keep spouting his "hurr durr our HW division is the best in the world" when it's filled with guys that are large, one-dimensional wrestlers with mediocre standup and little to no submission game. This opens the way for White to sign guys like Josh Barnett, Aleks and Fedor Emelianenko, Mark Hunt, Overeem, Werdum, etc.
The Top 10 Heavyweight Rankings right now are a joke. Junior Dos Santos, Frank Mir, Brett Rogers, (and as much as I hate to say it, Nog) etc. have no place in the top 10 and are only there because better fighters are fighting in smaller promotions and have gone relatively unheard of as a result. Barnett just beat Mighty Mo a few months back and isn't even ranked Top 10, but the winner of fucking Roy Nelson vs. Junior Dos Santos is going to be number 1 contender? Brett Rogers is ranked 10th? Haha. Please.

That makes no fucking sense. If Carwin didn't tap out, you know what would have happened? He would have passed out, and then Brock if he was in a bar, could literally KILL him. Since there would be 0 defense from Carwin. Carwin spent 4 minutes throwing punches, and even though he did do big damage, he didn't knock him out. While it took Brock less than a minute to have Carwin tap out, and only a few more seconds till having him pass out.
Firstly, who gives a shit about what people say on Shitdog, probably the most retarded forums on the internet, and thats saying something.
Junior Dos Santos smashed Werdum and anybody he's faced thus far so I think he's a decent contender besides Velasquez. But other than that, I don't know.
Heavyweights that need to be signed to the UFC roster ASAP IMO are Overeem, Werdum, Sergei Kharitonov, Antonio Silva, Fedor & Aleks. The rest aren't worth a shit. If they add even half guys I listed, the UFC HW division would improve dramatically. 5 out of 6 of them are in Strikeforce too.
Aleks has some sort of blood problem and can't be cleared to fight in the states, Dana said Fedor is too expensive and a headache to negotiate with, plus he also lost which doesn't help. Kharitonov signed for Strikeforce which is cool, I love watching that guy fight, excellent power puncher with good ground game and throws, he was also the last guy to put a brutal whooping on a pre-bulked up Overeem.
I'm not sure why you even mentioned Mark Hunt because he got knocked the fuck out by a middleweight recently. (Manhoef)
Barnett got popped for roids multiple times and is a proven cheater, also beating a shot Mighty Mo with 0 ground game isn't really a big ask and doesn't give you top 10 status. I'm willing to bet 95% of LHWs in UFC can beat the shit out of Mighty Mo. The guy got knocked out by a 155lb Kaoklai in kickboxing and his stand up is meant to be his strongest point. I'm also willing to bet Barnett loses to both Nelson and Dos Santos quite easily.
Roy Nelson is a good solid fighter, legit black belt and very underrated. He could have finished Arlovski until the stupid ref stood it up from FULL MOUNT.

that is of course if everything happened like it did in the fight.
That was almost 2 years ago but yeah, he's got like 5 straight losses. Everybody I grew up with is done now.
But yeah I like Roy Nelson too, people just hate him because he's fat.
