Bruins Run Up $150,000 Bar Tab at MGM Grand

Did anyone else notice on the bill that they got, 1, yes 1 bottle of complementary champagne out of it. Ha!

Looks like they were buying for the whole bar and them some. I can see at least 28 regular bottles of champagne on there (can't read the top clearly) and that 30 liter bottle of Midas is equal to 40 regular sized bottles. I wonder how you pour that? It would weight about 65 pounds.

Puckin' out of control.

This was forwarded to me from a friends, friends, friends stag, not athletes or rappers or any of that shit

Yeah, this image made its rounds on facebook or something like that. Again, those first 4 bottles are equivilent to 80 regular bottles of champagne! Plus there's 25 other bottles on there, at least one of which is 6l which is 8 more regular bottles in size. That must have been some stag at well over 100 bottles of champers.

Champagne shower for the whole club? LOL

If youve been to Tryst in Vegas, seems like the waterfall was flowing champagne instead?

Ya I dont know the person just got it in a forward recently.

Last time I was in Tryst, they shut off the lights and made a special birthday announcement and than 50 bottles of champagne each with a separate chick carrying it came out for some Arab dudes birthday.

I love Vegas

Hockey players making Russian deca billionaire look cheap.

He picked up this launch tab. Total time 79 minutes. Thats about $658 dollars a minute.

step 1. buy $100,000 bottle of bubbly
step 2. pour into stanley cup
step 3. = DRINK LIKE A BOSS

That's some tab alright.

I remember when I was working bars in Greece, I'd get drunk behind the bar and then shit myself when I realised I'd let multiple groups run up tabs of 100+Euro as it wasn't unusual for people to get so drunk/cheap that they'd leave without paying.

WHat's lost in all of this is that the players undoubtedly were buying drinks for people that were there.

I also read a story that the $100k bottle was going to be comp'd to them, and that they were going to all sign it and let the Bar keep it.

If you get bottles at clubs often, you can very well understand how this is possible. The real price killers are the bottles of champaign. It's an ego thing more than anything else.

I've been at Marquee in Vegas where the bill for the table has been over $10k several times (one time even $25k). It is all relative based on the party at the table. To some people $20k is a fortune, to others its not much at all.
