Buing a new pc- thoughts on this please

+1 for the dude asking for advice here, who cares? throw a stone in any direction and you'll hit a worse thread. i think some of us enjoy weighing in on a new build anyways..
1+ for mechanical keyboards, i picked up a "das keyboard" last week and it's incredible. 140 wpm come at me bro.

Sounds a bit like my first build - wrong screws everywhere, things not plugged in properly, etc. When you next upgrade, I'd definitely get a new case and motherboard, my build after that was much much better, with zero problems. For my last build (~July) I think it set me back ~£400 (so probably around $500 buying from Newegg) to get a pretty decent motherboard (open box, which reduced it to £50 from £170), CPU (ebay, an i330s, if you pick components that aren't the most used, you can get a good deal), 8GB DDR3 RAM, a 1TB HDD to add to my existing hard drives, a decent case and a GTX 480 (ebay, again)
