I was thinking about getting some business cards printed up in an effort to make myself feel just a little bit more important haha.

Can anyone could recommend a quality online printer?

Any tips or recommendations would be much appreciated!

go with print100, those guys have offset (traditional, not digital) printing for very small price. You can add lot of "bling" to them too like uv spot, gold print (hot stamping) and so on.

I ordered my business cards from Moo.com through a free LinkedIn offer (no s&h even, but I think that offer is over), and they came out really nicely. At ASE last year, I had a number of people comment on the nice cardstock they were printed on.

+rep for knowing your shit... offset printing and slitter cuts should be the minimum standard.

In addition to your ink/coating preferences, don't go cheap on the paper stock. Heavier stock is much more impressive than flimsy shit IMO.

I met a plastic surgeon that had aluminum business cards but the price was ridiculously expensive - but it was the sharpest bcard I've seen yet. In a survival situation it could probably double as a ninja weapon.

I use overnight prints,,, stupid as shit service and sale reps, sound like the have a butplug up the ass when they talk to you, but overall cheap priices and ok quality

Kevin Mitnick has the coolest I've seen.

Yes, that is a lock picking set. And, it's functional.

Check out acidprinting.com -- Low cost, high quality. I've been printing club & event flyers through them for 8+ years. Quick turnaround and my business cards were some of the highest quality out at ASE.

If you really want to stand out and have some coin, check out plasticprinters.com -- I'm still waiting to be able to justify the expense.

Vistaprint is cheap, crap quality, OvernightPrints.com is quick (duh), quality OK, Silkcards make some badass cards, I don't know if you can order direct without being a vendor (affiliate, whatever)...the sickest ones I've seen (before the lockpick card) are these holgraphic cards my dj friend just got made...as you tilt it it shows her scratching the turntables in front of this massive crowd..pretty impressive. Expensive as fuck tho, like $600 for 1000.
