Anyone else excited as hell about the heavyweight tourney Strikeforce is putting on next month? Overeem, Arlovski, Barnett, Bigfoot Silva, Fedor. This tourney is STACKED!

True. I'm looking forward to seeing him and Brett Rogers slug it out. Strikeforce has such an exciting heavyweight division, I'm just hoping no one gets injured/ backs out during the whole tourney because there are going to be some exciting fights.
What? There are other fighting organizations aside from the UFC? Sounds fake.

Lol strikeforce is ok you have to take it with a grain of salt, I mean they have some good fighters but then they do stuff like give a title shot to a guy that lost his last fight. But then they also have fighters like this

right off the bat coker jumped the gun with announcing the tournament with no set details. the expectations were 5 round championship fights for the strikeforce championship...and now it's going to be just for the grand prix title. that aside, you have question marks surrounding barnett's licensing issues, overeem's other organization commitments, fedor's M1 management, an unbalanced bracket, and that's just to name a few.
UFC puts on these "tournaments" all the time. they're just called title eliminator fights and not dressed up as a tournament. Expect to see alternates Del Rosario & Cormier in the mix as it will likely not play out as we'd all like to hope.
UFC 128 not a bunch of fights that one would label as exciting, but major implications on the line in a bunch of different weight classes. WAR BELFORT!!!
