I need a Voice over for songs I am doing for a mixtape. The mixtape is hip-hop/rap, but that doesn't mean you need to have that typical hip-hop sound. I need a rough sound, something like Don LaFontaine. It's hard to explain, but here is a snippet of something I would like. At the 0:05 - 0:06 second mark, where he says, "Canon". Here is the link:

I would really like someone that can do a Don LaFontaine or a similar voice over for a movie trailer.

I need about 5-10 phrases, all phrases containing anywhere between 4-15 words. If you are a female, I have a couple phrases you can say that contain 4-10 words each. The female example is at the 0:01 - 0:04 mark:

If you are interested, let me know. I will give you the phrases if you think you can do this for me. If no one can, ill just end up paying someone on voices.com or looking for someone in the hood and ask them. I figure I would ask here first.

This guy is pretty old, but he has an awesome voice for voice overs. His last name is also "Canon", so I figured it is only natural to recommend him.

Check him out in the following silly short I helped produce a couple years ago. He's the one that starts talking around the 1:22 mark

Let me know if you want his contact info. You'll most likely have to pay him but he might cut you a deal since you'd be going around his agent.

EDIT: (he's the one on the left in the vid thumbnail)

hey, I know a guy who is looking to be a voice actor. He's looking for gigs so he can put it in his portfolio. If you want his contact info, i can hook u up. pm me.

definitely find the 'white guy posing as a black guy in his urban google money video' guy. "and you get the check - in THE mail, check check in THE mail"

lol

You can get voice overs for pretty cheap. I had about 5 spots done for a podcast back in the day for like $15 total.

Yup. I would like something like Don LaFontaine. I never said the example was like Don. Anyway, I did find the person I would like. Thanks for the help.
