I have your same story on PayPal.

I had more than $3000 in my PayPal, when they politely informed me that they have kept it in limited status. When I called their "agents", they asked for proof of address. When I gave that they closed down my account.

What the heck did i do wrong???? i don't live in iran either :angryfire:

I have an account now (no idea how I was able to re-register) but I don't trust them at all.

There is no reasoning with paypal even if the customer is on your side. They will lock you up for 180 days for sure and collect that interest. They may also just hold 20% of it for 60 days and distribute it to you slowly.

Go to the bank at setup a merchant account.
