Lol. I'm relieved and cautiously optimistic that it's a move in the right direction, but then I remember what it was like when Blair got elected here and he turned out to be a complete twat.

One thing for sure, SNL's four year outlook for record viewership just got better.

BTW, thanks to Hippy for the insightful debates.

Now, back to work.
Dude, I dunno... Palin and McCain look like WAY better fodder, just on a purely aesthetic level.

But agreed. Let's get over this silly shit, place a few bets on how many days till the assassins get Obama, and get back to putting Ameros in the bank ;)

OK guys. The election is over. Now comes the hard part. The War. The Recession. Social Security. Taxes. Health Care. Public schools. Putin, oil and the mideast. Etc.

And God (or Allah if you prefer) only knows how many skeletons will fall out of the white house closets in the next few months. I don't think the Republicans ever even thought they could win this election, and knew they didn't want to clean up after baby Bush - that's why they ran McCain and Palin. They were disposable.

Lets hope just Obama and Biden are up to it. I personally think Obama's got a good shot at it, but it ain't going to be pretty. And both McCain and Obama get props for thinking that it was worth trying.
