Mates here is what i got:

my friend is running business in nyc. let say carpet cleaners.
he has office in brooklyn. but cause of location(too far from manhattan) his google place listing is not doing good.

i am doing local seo for him. if i will change the adress to some in manhattan, can we got problems? i saw a lot of fake listings... moneywise it very good move, but what about law?

If you are this worried about it, chances are you will be caught, that's just how these things work. It's like Murphy's law, worry about it and it shit will happen to you, whenever possible.

contact someone that works at 123 fake street and ask them if you can use their address.

pay them a royalty

I have wondered the same thing...I don't think it could technically be mail fraud...since you aren't mailing or receiving anything.

BTW, PO boxes and UPS store mailboxes probably won't work with Gplaces. I have tried a few and they go into 'review' forever...

find shitty vacant building on google streetview or one owned by an old fart then add an extra "floor" to their location or apartment # or w/e
