Can someone recommend me a printer?

So, I'm oldschool - I like editing and reading from a piece of paper, not a computer screen, iPad or phone. I understand the value of tech, but when it comes to words, holding an actual piece of paper and a pen or pencil just feels right.

Whatever.

But, I can't seem to find a good, high quality printer that is BASIC.

All I need is something that can print black and white text pages quickly. Reasonably priced ink would be nice too. I don't need a scanner on top or any of that other jazz that I never use.

Any recommendations? I know the market for a product like this is probably pretty small nowadays, but there has to be one somewhere...

Thanks in advance

^ had the same HP LaserJet for years and its never failed me... was like $1200 though - worth it considering i would've gone through 3 printers in that time.

I just use the cheap $20 printers and buy a new one each time they break. I've only gone through 3 so far over the span of 5 years. But, I abuse my printers, so that's to be expected.

If you can still find one:

Brother International - - HL-1440

I've had this thing for about 10 years, still works great and toner cartridges are still easy to get.

It can do a bit more than the 15 PPM advertised, their current equivalent is advertised around 40 PPM
