Saw this on a website a few days ago. Not sure if this was posted before but it looks epic.

The GCHQ are doing a competition where anyone can take part. Anyone that solves the code and submits it may be in for a chance for working WITH them full time.

Can you crack this? Original site can be found here.

Me? Pah. I looked at it for a few seconds and then closed the page. Anything with a lot of numbers and digits pisses me off. Along with that woman on that tram. :music06:

Give me your views!

That website is down for more than 2 weeks and I'm not sure if it'll be up again. This is the active one right now.

You're a gentleman and a scholar...

Fuck you! :laughing-smiley-007 Actually fell for that one, hahah.

Anyways, my mate completed it before. You get taken to an Application page for the job but the page got shut down because too many hackers got access to it.

Canyoucrackit - British Citizens only - Application for your Job

I've been here far too long to fall for something as simple as that

That was a piece of piss.

just do:

http://www.google.co.uk/#q=site:www.canyoucrackit.co.uk

and it shows the url of the completion page.

Rule 1 of system penetration: Don't spend ages trying to kick the door down without first checking to see if one of the windows is open. :cool-smiley-008:

Your a piece of piss!

Wtf are you on about. Tell me the fucking answer!!

Just had a look at their jobs - average salary £25K.

Fuck. That's less than a postdoc gets at university. Although I guess after a few years, once you have experience + clearance, you can make big bucks doing consulting.

Not that they'd ever hire the likes of me anyway.

I am a cyber security grad student but I don't want to give any fuck about breaking this code. LOL at the company and their salary. It's almost half of how much a security professional gets in the US
