So is it just me or this question more and more common here with vendors?

It's usually never any money we are talking about so I have always just paid it, but I just got annoyed today when I was asked. I mean the 4%-5% that paypal charges you is the cost for doing business, how hard is it to calculate that into the price?

Or am I just a whiny bitch?

Can you pay for my hosting while you're at it? After all, without my hosting, we wouldn't be able to do business.

Never been asked this on WF, but if I were I would cancel my transaction with that vendor. Although, come to think of it, I did have one ask to pay him with masspay for a single transaction. I declined.

I think, vendors would rather get the net amount of what they have set a price for to make the SRP or price tag looks cheap. Then, all of a sudden it would be 4-5% on top of what they are charging.

It's a marketing strategy, making things look cheaper in reality it isn't. If it's $0.40 and you are paying on top it's okay. But if you are paying $40 on top now that's another story. Better go to another vendor who does not charges extra % on top of the price just for paypal fee.

Who is earning more? Paypal! lols...

Sometimes I'll offer to pay a vendors paypal fees(only if they deserve it). but I agree, that's just tacky of them to ask.
