I'm sure that you can and cannot see why not so long as the link is correctly set, but what I can't see is why this would be a useful strategy.

Better would be to give before you take by offering some kind of virtuous bribe in the form of additional training. You don't even have to ask for the email address in order to give the additional information and can have your donation button there.

Yes can put links in your kindle book to a donation page. Will you get good reviews is the question. If you put a donation link and all people think is that you wrote the book just to get a donation then NO bad idea. If you eBook is giving out a lot of information and the donation flows into your book then YES. Best to do like ard555 said and create a page about this donation. Collect their email by giving something away that will entice them. This email list will be your list of people that donate to charities. Now that is where you will make the big money by positioning yourself as the expert when it comes to donating to charities. Imagine if people came to you to ask what charity they should donate how much money do you think you could make?
