Car wash morons scratched my brand new car. What would you do?

Most dealers around here outsource body work and I wouldn't trust the ones that don't. Maybe different in cheeseland.

When you talk to the manager make sure you make your case that the issue is clear - the car was not scratched prior and was after. Also, it's brand new.

However, about all you can ask for is a refund and outside body detailing paid for to be done at another firm. That should hopefully buff out the scratches. If they are too deep than a re-paint (by the Dealer only) should be necessary.

Car washes have liability insurance. There's a reason.

Same thing happened to me... there was a small stain on the paint of my car.

The guy tried to use polish to get it out, and ended up scratching my whole trunk... sucked ass.

The place is a small hole in the wall, and I know I would never get the money it would cost to repair the damage(ateast a few hundred), so I didn't make a fuss and just drove off.

Was I in my right to fight and try to get them to fix it? Yes. But they weren't going to, so why wast my very valuable time. I like to think I pick my battles wisely.

I've watched car wash employees wash and dry cars and I'm convinced most of them have no clue how to do it right. They'll take a towel and run it over running boards and everywhere else. If dirt gets in the towel and they go in zig zag and all sorts of other patterns, you'll end up with scratches and swirls all over.

this stuff works

just lik he said

I did this, I created a blog bashing a used car dealer and optimized it for the name of his business. I also wrote 3-4 articles and submitted them. The articles are on page one but my site has not been indexed (3 months) I have tried everything to get it indexed and nothing works. Maybe G will never index
it. Who knows but if it does it will be #1

You either do nothing, or kill the fucking car wash attendant who makes $8/hr. BUT, don't come to WF and whine about this shit.

I thought everybody knew not to put their car through an automated car wash unless you want scratches, its common sense. that shits used for huge 4x4's covered in mud, what do you expect will happen.

G never makes any sense to me. I had garythiem.com up in #1 in less than 24 hours.

Some automated washes are fine.
Like the one around the corner from where I love now, they use the cotton polymer tentacle things that just beat at the car.
I reckon you could go through one of those, and provided you brought some oxygen in a tank, you'd be fine...
Hot wax might be a problem, but it's not like you wanted all that hair or skin on your back or scalp.

I only ever get my car washed by Paul Dalton.

The other to think about,, maybe it wasn't the automatic washer but the idiots drying it off with towels they dropped on the ground. You really think those people care?

Cry me a fucking river, jeezus. Do you try and pull over some guy you're following on the highway when his tire kicks up a rock and cracks your windshield? Or do you try to complain to the rock people in that case?

Be happy you have a car, bitch.

Your life sounds just a wreck. I don't know how you are able to cope with it. This is truly something to be depressed about and not get any perspective on it.

I would kill these freaking morons! Or even better a would hire Ali and his 2 meter friend to kill these morons! Making scratches into my car is like a girl that bites off the best part of my body! eehhhkkk
