Case Study: Effects of Blasting 2nd Tier

Shit, that was harsh. I've always spammed the fuck out of my sites (brand new domains) with 100's of thousands of the spammiest links imaginable and I've never been deindexed or permanently penalized.

Just a bad-luck manual review?

Agreed I am a spam man and I have never had a site deindexed.

The best way to prove your theory is to make two sites as identical as possible, build the same links, then blast one with tier 2 and leave the other alone.

Many new sites have a honeymoon period which pretty much invalidates your case study.

^^ this...do over

That's really interesting. I do blast my tiers, but generally speaking, I order a blast of like 30,000 comments to about 500 of my links. So it comes out to around 60 blog comments per link, and this has actually worked wonders for me. Hasn't failed me yet.

1 Month old domain and ranking shouldn't be used in the same sentence.

Normally, I let my sites simmer for six months (unless I buy aged domains) before I start any serious link building. You can't draw any conclusion from one site only and fresh one at that. Just my 2c

lol, I disagree. Life is short, and I certainly wouldn't even consider waiting 6 months to begin aggressive link building. I've blasted many of my sites in competitive niches when they were only a month or so old, and I still have not experienced a penalty.

But hey, we all have our own business models.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Why would you go through the hassle of setting up a bunch of 2.0's to blast for a local keyword?

Set up a decent site with great content, then give it a couple GOOD backlinks, and profit.

Looks like the ping on day 23 bit you in the ass. I have always viewed G as a hoe and as long as you keep her satisfied you will reap the reward. If you shove too much cock down her throat she will bite it off.
