Case Study: Spending 25,000.00 on an offline biz using WickedFire BST services.

In my eyes, it started to sink when you mods stopped banning spammers and other douchebags. Then, i can speak only for myself, i started to loose a motivation to come here, check and talk regularly.

Yes I believe this where it started going downhill.

However, it accelerated when Jon decided to demote the mods and charge for sections of the forum.

It could have improved by:

1. Jon discuss with the mods amicably to step up their game in managing the forum, banning idiots and scammers. Failing that, recruit enthusiastic mods who are willing to work the toil.

2. If Jon wants to charge for accessing parts of the forum, his promise of the planned services should be implemented when the charges come into place. What has happened is parts of the forum are charged with the promise of services about 2 years later.

This is my innocuous oberservation and opinion.

Since we are talking about ego, I believe we are much healthier and have more equanimity when we let go of ego. Feeding the ego will just lead to a psychological downhill spiral.

The irony of Tim McBride calling anyone a scammer after he recently stiffed me for $3k is pretty sad. He said he got stiffed by his client, and that he has no money. Now just refuses to answer Skype messages or emails.

Stay far away from Tim McBride. The guy is a piece of shit. Not even man enough to answer a Skype message or email, or even setup a payment plan.

Wickedfire had a good run. I had some good times here but most people have moved on.
Good luck to all.

Alex came into one of our skype groups crying about not getting paid. (Keep in mind I have paid him well over 10k).

He did some shotty ass work on a website because he outsourced it and then wanted 3k for it. He got kicked from the group on skype. Now he is being a baby about it, instead of just fixing the bad code.

"The quote was for more than just optimization. The code was off WP standards at many places - which I pointed out. There were load time issues - which were fixed. But there was a shit load of more stuff for what I was contracted. "

Exact quote from a reputable member on here who said it would cost 2k just to fix Alex's shitty code.

So for those hiring Alex of Hyper6. He designs nice landing pages and websites, but outsources his coding to people who have no business coding. Then when he doesn't get paid for poor work he throws tantrums.

This is not some big secret either. Ask around his coding is notoriously ass.

I was even going to pay him just to save face for a buddy of mine who I had to pay to fix his work, but he decided to take to the forums, email, skype, facebook, any way he could be obnoxious he did. So fuck em.

Forget it, we cleared it up.

All is well. Carry on. We were able to solve our differences <3

For the record - I do not outsource anything. ALL work is done by our full-time team, most of which have worked with us for 3-5 years now. And our coding is actually quite good :) Just a mis-understanding.. all is well.

Let's move on.
