Offline? meaning what? you are paying to put classified ad's in newspapers?

Yes, newspapers and local circulation mags like Thrifty Nickel etc.

My gut tells me that there are a lot more educated, smart people who quietly need payday loans in this bad economy, but who'll be too embarrassed to walk into a physical store. These are the people who will go on-line because it's private.

Sure, the worse the economy gets the more tempting a fiscal assraping can be. But how to target those individuals? Two factors kind of block the brainstorm for me:

1) If they're laid off or downsized, they can't get a payday loan.

2) This is only "gut" but I'm guessing that of every demograph in America, office/white collar upper middle class has the lowest ratio of clean car titles to liens, so they can't get a title loan.

Hard to know how to target them -- maybe debt consolidation rather than cash flow loans.

I consider both Leadpile and Leadpoint second tier or worse players in cash advance market. You should be able to find better partners although I like some of their technology.

So who's a first tier?

sir: what is Leadpile and Leadpoint?
and it like t3leads.com?
I want to know:)
thank you.

Leadpile - Lead marketplace, doing cash advance for years, starting by generating leads exclusively for its partners (never been an aggregator), built a proprietary tracking system from the start, offering co-branded forms for affiliates to use on their pages (instead of loosing their traffic by sending traffic away).

And, if you are using our system, you should give me a call so I can give you access to Adwords API - free tool for our publishers to use. It will help you track inside your Leadpile account all the clicks, impressions, earnings (both form search and content network) / each keyword (adgroup in the content net case).

Second tier ... hm... that's for you all to decide - Cash Advance Offer - $2714 EPM (last 7 days stats).

ke111, just one more thing to add. I read one of your posts about the low payouts we have. You can get paid $0.20 for a coreg lead (or a lead that has been incomplete), something that all other networks would not even consider in paying you for.

Leadpile is very transparent about your leads and payouts (because we want to give you the CVR so you can optimize your site). We are showing ALL the leads you generate (coregs, incomplete apps - short form), not only the leads that are sold at $20, $50, or whatever other networks show you. If you give it enough time, you will see that you are making a decent amount with us. Look at your EPM, EPC, which are all that matter for you.

See you all for a beer in Boston ;)

PS: how would you like your numbers to show like the stats below? - it's just a screenshot from one of the accounts.

I don't want to be accused of pushing one company or another (including the one I work for). But I do know the players in the market and they aren't it. PM me if you want some recommendations which will depend on how much tech you want to build out, but you are pretty much leaving money on the table if you just use the guys above.

Not that they have bad intentions, they just aren't Tier 1.

I do like LeadPile's technology platform. It seems pretty slick.

Thanks Crashem! I hope people will find it useful too... slick tech would not get us far. Fortunately there are thousands of people enjoying it so far and I can't tell you the excitement of doing this daily. Lovely industry!
