My parent's neighbor up in the northwoods of wisconsin actually collects medieval torture devices. Emphasis on the "rare" and offbeat ones. And apparently his basement is just chock full of them... I still haven't gone over there to check em out, but will definitely report back once I do. if I'm still alive, mu ah ah ah.
How about taking a few pics if you go. I have a small collection of that type of "art" work.

+1 on taking pics. I am actually fascinated with medieval torture devices, but have a hard time finding sources. Can you ask him where he finds things?
If I get around to it, I'll take pics and post a thread for sure. My parents said he has some incredibly rare and expensive stuff, I mean shit that was used in the french revolution etc.
