It's like this all over the place. Graphic/web designer/webmaster/programmer/admin/action scrip expert/gui designer/SEO guru/etc. jobs are posted all the time for £25k in London.

It's not enough that you are a kick ass designer, but you'll also need to cut it up, do the css/html/php/ajax/javascript, implement some crazy Flash interactivity, program the backend database functionality, deploy it, admin the server and put a print campaign together for it all at the same time. With a smile no less.

I wonder if they would get the message if you built a resume with 3-5 "entry-level" positions where you supposedly managed the SEO/PPC campaigns for failed companies.

Be all upbeat about it, but just keep mentioning how "you have no idea why their sites were banned" and "Google is just mean for giving them all $10 bids".

Sad thing is, they'd probably hire you.
