Look, I'm not a Christian and I could give two fucks what the gays do or who anyone marries. You think teaching a 10 year old to protest a business because the CEO is a religious man and holds standard religious beliefs about the definition of marriage is somehow teaching him tolerance? What you are doing is teaching him to be intolerant towards people with religious beliefs, which is a far greater number of people in the world that those who thinks gays should be allowed to marry. Marriage has always been the religious term for it, why should the definition be changed for gays? The gay marriage argument started because many felt it was unfair that gays do not have the same legal standing as heterosexual couples, which is understandable. Now that many people agree and would be happy to give gays couples the same rights under a secular term "civil union", gays are not happy with that and want it to be called "marriage". So it wasn't the equal rights that really mattered, it was all about a big "Fuck You" to religious people everywhere, wasn't it?
