A true superpower is such because of the potential for the people in that country to be able to succeed and prosper. China is spending it's way towards trying to be a superpower but a lot of it is just a mirage. Check out this video about the huge unoccupied cities that have been build in China. I think Trump had a decent description of this. When you borrow a little bit from the bank and can't pay it back, then the bank is still ok. When you borrow a shitload from the bank and can't pay it back, the bank is fucked. So while we owe trillions to China, that is a crap load of money - if we go down we're taking everyone with us.

Lol, what's Obama gonna do? China could bankrupt and turn the USA into an even deeper "Recession" than we're in now if they called in all the debt they have us in.

I've got news for you, China's already been the Next Superpower for over a decade. They've just been keeping their currency artificially deflated to lure everyone in to owing them money so they could hold that over every government's heads.

And stole the US manufacturing base because of it while they used the profits to rape the third world resources and build their military for conventional, cyber, nuclear and biological warfare... and spreading these weapons to North Korea, Iran and a bunch of other 2 bit players to destabilize the West and do their bidding in the upcoming WW3 China war by proxy.

China is on the verge of economic collapse and revolution by their population. My hope is that TPTB over there do not share their pain with the rest of the world as they are taken down. The billionaires are already fleeing the country. Obama has signaled to them that the South China Sea does not belong to them and they cannot bully their way there with the Australian move. They are being boxed in.
