So it's cool to allow someone that repeatedly states that the Zionist Regime must be removed like a cancer etc to go get such a WMD? He has been clear about this.
Why should anyone in the world want someone to have a Nuke that is making such aggressive statements?

China's economy is starting to slow, there's growing discontent about the increasing income divide and corruption within the state (some things are the same the world over), and the once a decade power transfer within the politburo is happening in October. Seems like it could be a good time for dissidents to make a play at destabilizing the Communist regime... unless the rabble is distracted by a little jingoistic sabre rattling and threats from a historical antagonist.

Wow, i don't need to watch the news or read the newspaper anymore. I am learning a lot from all of you.
I live and work here in Shanghai.
All my students are 100% sure there will be a real war. The riots are real here. Last weekend air raid sirens went off. I am assuming that is because the government wanted to remind people of the issue.
There is great hatred of japanese. Imagine mississippi in 1910. Japanese = black and chinese = white. It is that clear. You can marry anyone, except japaense.
China and Japan are both going through political changes. china is changing political leaders. Japan is in elections. How many times do we see countries ramp up rhetoric and patriotism for elections etc? USA and Iran a few years ago. Everytime Israel goes through one.
But right now Japan has the islands. What can china or taiwan do about it? China is trying to bitch so much they get ownership through fear. They think that by allowing or helping riots japan's economy will be hurt so much they give up and let China have it. China is trying to show force and power, a signal to all asian nations to do what they say. Do it, or else. Look at what our people will do. We can whip them up into a frenzy.
But can China really start military operations? If china starts shooting at Japan, what happens? Australia, S. Korea, USA, might get involved. And heaven forbid N. Korea, Russia, try to use this as a chance to pull a stunt... Russia and japan have a similar issue about other islands.
Can China be seen as the military agressor here? What will that do with the trade? China can't afford to lose the trade. Will europe contine to buy crap from China if they are seen as starting a war with japan? Will the USA? Would the philipeans/australia/US navy block Chinese trade ships? An embargo would cripple China. China knows they can't risk an actual war.
The only way they would risk it, is if they took it by force, with very few or no shots fired at the japanese. Then they sit on the island and make the japanese shoot first. Or if they think that they could get away with it, and the USA/Europe, Australia will be too tired to fight with China and just say fuck it take the island...
We will see.
But as someone who is in china at the moment, It looks and feels like the tea party/occupy movements that looks nice on tv but really is just distracting bitchyness.
