One of his recent movie - Fearless:

What a pity that now he focuses much on his One Foundation (charity foundation) & is no longer active in Movie Industry.

Starting from 2008, another Kung Fu star rises up so fast (though he have started his movie career long time ago), his name is Donnie Yen. The movie IP Man made him so popular...

Here is his movie trailer..

The Tai Chi Master
Fong Sai Yuk
Shaolin Temple (1st one only)
Last Hero In China
Iron Monkey
the Once Upon a Time in China series is great
Enter the Dragon

never liked much of Jackie Chan, not even Drunken Master..

I like some of the newer ones too - Hero, Fearless, Crouching Dragon Hidden Tiger, Kung Fu Hustle, House of Flying Daggers, Seven Swords

On the same level are the Tony Jaa movies from Thailand (he is kind of Jackie Chan's protege, without the stupid slap stick and real martial arts). ONG BAK.

Here's Tony Jaa - anyone who likes martial arts movies or Martial Arts at all WATCH THIS SHIT. and tell me if he shits all over Jackie Chan, Jet Li AND Bruce Lee.

I doubt it!

But who knows.. Bruce Lee maybe - if MMA was going on in his days he's have incorporated ground fighting properly into Jeet Kun Do for sure. Modern schools do.
Jet Li was a good fighter, but too small.. Jackie Chan fuck no. And Tony Jaa sure looks like he could, but I'm not sure of his 'real' fighting credentials, he seems more of a stuntman (my last post was bait).

I like that GSP's original style was Kyokushin (I am a Shodan)

I know this is kind of a derailment as it's not a "Kungfu movie" by any means but did you guys know they were remaking Karate Kid? I think it looks kinda cool. Definitely one I'll be check out with my 8 year old [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SmmxvHLsKk"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame]

Unlike most of the martial artist that you see in movies, Bruce Lee was actually involved in a lot of street fights and competitive fights(MMA back in the day). He was also a highly trained boxer, professional level. I don't know if he could take GSP in modern MMA because of the ground factor but the guy was a real, highly skilled fighter. Most of those guys are just movie martial artist.

As you can see the IP Man's trailer, he is bruce lee's master. Not sure if IP Man is the Wing Chun Kungfu founder.

Oh man..

5 Deadly Venoms

...which I hear they are remaking (they better get it right)

As I know, he is NOT the founder of WingChun Kungfu... However, he is the one who really Spread/Popularize this WingChun KungFu...

As other bros has mentioned, I don't really like Jackie Chan also... He is not a Kung Fu master, he is just like monkey/crown... jumping around & doing some funny stuff. Anyway, this is his style & many people like it though....

Legend has it that Wing Chun was actually created by a woman after she saw a fight between a snake and a crane. But the Chinese love a good story so who knows.

Ip Man was the grandmaster of one of the lineages and yes it grew quickly under him, but there are several others lineage also.

Oh yeah. Hey dickheads. Watch the Tony Jaa vid above, yeah.

Check ONG BAK and Ninja Assassins... not chinese/hong kong but good movies none then less.
