Apparently they have 1 billion in profits and the owner is still the 100% owner of the company. Kudos to this guy.

One day I will transform a bankrupt dildo manufacturer into a multi-billion dollar business in a decade.

You might want to learn the difference between revenue and profit (net profit) I think it might serve you well further down the line.

I just want a yogurt that doesn't shoot yogurt all over the place when I open the lid. Does this happen to anyone else?

see post #2.

The expenses related to making yogurt and paying employees is extremely low so it wouldn't significantly change the 1 Billion dollars I said they did in profit.

950 Million in profits. Happy?

PS We're ranking #1 for chobonis profit.

I can make 64 oz of greek yogurt myself for around $2... that is the price of a gallon of milk from Costco.

I am sure Chobani is able to buy milk much cheaper in huge amounts.

I have seen Chobani 6 oz cups priced anywhere in the $1-$2 range.

You really believe that in 5+ years of business, and after 1 billion in revenue, the only expenses were around $50 million?

Just one real estate transaction set them back almost half their revenue:

"In 2012, Chobani opened one of the world’s largest yogurt-processing plants in Twin Falls, Idaho. The one million square-foot facility cost $450 million and employs 300 people." - source

A profit of 10% would already be a high guess. 95%? lol.

You need tutoring on how NOT to make money daydreaming, before you sign up for learning some skills that can actually help you make money.

Good luck:thumbsup:

All I know is it's damn good yogurt. I would say it is a little more Americanized with more fruit (which gives it a slightly sweeter taste). I've had Greek yougurt with fruit from Greek bakeries, and their's is a lot more sour/bland tasting.
