Officials have confirmed the horrifying details in the deaths of wrestling superstar Chris Benoir and his family/

In a statement by a member of the Fayetteville Sheriff's Department, "Mr, Benoit had sometime, possibly Friday, murdered his wife by asphyxiation. Sometime shortly after that, the same for his son Daniel and sometime later ... committed suicide by hanging himself in the basement area."

According to officials, Nancy was found with her wrists and feet with some blood underneath her head. A Bible was also reportedly found near each one of the bodies.

Police have also confirmed that prescription drugs and steroids were found in the house.

I learned this lovely fact through the Jesse Davis case over the last week or so:

Two studies published in recent years have shed light on the problem of maternal homicides: A 2003 study in the American College of Nurse-Midwives' Journal of Midwifery & Women's Health identified homicide as the leading cause of death among pregnant women. That conclusion also was reached in a study published in 2001 in the Journal of the American Medical Association. In January, after studying death records across the country, The Washington Post reported that 1,367 pregnant women and new mothers had been murdered since 1990.

I am the first to say that stats can say whatever you want them to say, but in order to make any analysis there has to be some sort of number there to play with.

I have ZERO tolerance for cruelty towards children no matter what the circumstances are. This shit makes me fucking sick.

Child molesters, child abusers, and child murderers all deserve to fucking burn in Hell. I would personally put a bullet between every one of their eyes and not think twice about it.

i found out about this from yahoo buzz . chris benoit is the top mover. kinda crazy ive seen him on tv for a looong time
