Click Discrepancies?

I never checked for this before but I just checked a campaign for this today and the affiliate network reports 1922 Clicks for yesterday while the PPCSEs report 2751 in total clicks for yesterday.

That's a pretty big difference and clicks that I pay for.

I don't like to jump to conclusions too fast but this does make me wonder what is going on on the advertiser side...

Anyone else ever notices discrepancies this big?

always run your own tracking between the two to see what the REAL numbers are

I do, my own tracking says 3660 clicks for yesterday.

But I always figured that was off because of goog bots etc. spidering my page.

It was with a grain of salt that I took that argument. However I have been too lazy to look at the tracking code so far (which isn't mine). So I'm kind of in the dark about that. I just trust the googs, yahs and mics cause I can't really do much about their clicky click stats anyways...

But it is the CPA network stats that make me mildly suspicious cause of how they compare to those...

If you fuck up your site map and/or it misinterprets the update frequency it could - but highly unlikely. Heh.
