Clickbank vs. digiresults vs. JVZOO I Choose...

I'm a vendor and an affiliate.

I used to make a HUGE amount of money on CB. Ever since they came out with their new terms and punished affiliates FOR NO DAMN reason. (i.e. I promote a product, it gets 15% refund rate, Clickbank will punish BOTH affiliates AND vendor WTH!) Why screw the affiliates, we have no control of the vendors product quality?

Anyhow, I tried Digiresults. HATE the user control panel. I just don't like the way its laid out. Not a big affiliate network either I suppose. Didn't get many affiliate sign ups.

Went to JVZOO, and I'm really impressed so far. They have, good orderly control panels. Easy to navigate and setup products for free. I say the affiliates here are of higher quality as well. I think JVZOO is more for IM products though.

For me, I think JVZOO is the best choice for affiliates and vendors. At least until CB straighten out its new stupid rules.

Yeah you're right, a high refund % on Clickbank is TOTALLY the vendor's fault, there's NOTHING an affiliate can do to lower that for themselves. Besdies changing their presell, making sure they're not over-hyping the product and making false claims, and.. you know.. NOT promoting products with high refund rates.

"FOR NO DAMN reason"? Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure the reason is so they can keep a good relationship with their banks and continue to be able to process payments.

The various statements you've made, I don't even know where to begin. First what was the purpose of this thread? Like.... Wat?

I'm going to assume it was to vent or let us know your experience. The fact, that you state that an affiliate is getting screwed because of the refund rate, I have to wonder if you're not new to general marketing. If you market a product to the wrong crowd or in half-assed way where you end up making ridiculous claims, of course there are going to be refunds, IT YOUR TRAFFIC SOURCE.

You're whole statement is like me saying, yeah, once I drove a BMW, but I hit a pot hole and it was BMW's fault, now I'm driving a Benz, and as long as I don't hit potholes, I'm fine. Full of illogic.

Did you do research? Your a vendor and affiliate now huh... What are you selling MMO products? Get rich quick products? I mean, once we know what you are selling, that bright light will pop up in our head, yeah, that's where he fucked up, he doesn't know what he is doing.

Honestly, I don't even know why I'm wasting time writing this.

Carry on...

So you recommend and promote products you've got no idea about? Any affiliate worried about their reputation and their customers would at least test the product themselves before dropping a link.

Last time I bought something off JVZoo they started marketing to me directly. My relationship was with the seller, not the delivery service they used. I brought this up with the JVZoo guys (as a seller) and they said they have the rights to market to my customers. That arrogance was enough for me and I never went back.

I always just assumed that JVZOO was an excuse that people on the whoreior forum used because PayPal doesn't like people selling complete TRASH.

It's just an affiliate marketplace/product delivery platform. Unlike Clickbank the payment is still between the buyer and seller so they are still fucked if their product pisses off PayPal. They just use the adaptive API (or whatever it's called) to handle the commissions automatically.

I'm guessing you promote shitty MMO products, so you're in good company. Check out JVZoo + Clicksure, basically your best bets since CB is utter shit now.

I am planning on selling a product on Clickbank though I stumbled upon this thread and decided to ask some opinions. Can someone please tell me the pros and cons between JVZoo and CB? I am still confused as to where to market my product.. Thanks!
