Money keeps coming even after batches are gone. I have lost faith in this elaborate app.

Batches are not gone... you have 0 batches in your inventory, but you're still producing X amount per second, which then get sold immediately. Although, I don't think the sales volume decreases to reflect max production, so you have a point.
