My question is if someone was cloaking in terms of showing the bots one thing while sending visitors elsewhere.
Tracking is being done in prosper202. Keyword destination URL is the encrypted cloaking url. Ad destination/display url are to send the person somewhere else.
What is the best way to track adgroups in this situation on a content network? Prosper doesnt track to adgroup level as far as I know. I don't think I can make a different ad text url for each keyword destination url... and for 100 adgroups that'd be a bitch.
The search engine pixel doesnt fire due to the cloaking so that gets rid of that option.
Is my best bet to append {adgroup} when generating the keyword destination url's and go that route. That is the only thing I can think of to do this, but it's not quite working yet.
Wondering if anyone has a more creative solution. The most tracking I can do at this point is just deleting very low CTR adgroups, which seems to be increasing ROI but I still can't tell which adgroups are converting. At least I can see referrers in prosper.
