And not just for sellers, for everyone! I am a buyer and have no problem paying. Make it a yearly fee for everyone to gain access to this section. If scammers get in then ban their paypal email. No pay per thread or anything complicated needed.

Send everyone that pays a $10 tee shirt with a Gold Membership logo...

People that don't want to pay can still whine and send boob pictures to each other so business as usual for them in the free section.

Imo, we should have premium membership, but not like BHW where you get some special section, just minor things like a bigger PM box etc.

I tend to agree with this. As someone new to the biz, I have a limited budget (I'm a buyer). I've gone through a ton of threads, reading reviews and tips and SERP results and generating a list of threads that I think will get me the best ROI. These bookmarks now won't work for me in the future. It will be more difficult to keep track of the services you plan on getting and will also be more difficult to track the better services when threads have to be restarted every 10 days.

I realize the admins have to put up with a ton of bullshit and applaud the idea of trying to get rid of the scammers. I just think the implementation needs to be adjusted a little based on the current framework.

If it was me, my main focus would be on how to provide the best experience for the BUYERS. The sellers will adapt. If the buyers get screwed, they will look elsewhere for providers. It's been a great place to buy SEO services and to a lesser degree writers. I'm sure there are ways to make these changes and retain the high quality and low prices we've all come to love.

In the meantime, I don't recommend pre-paying anyone that you haven't worked with before, since they can easily disappear into the ether after the 10 days are up and have no incentive to build a quality business.

Also why not give some sort of yearly option to the sellers? In return they get some sort of special icon or something saying that they pay yearly which would add authority, so to speak, to their offers, and they would get to leave their thread open without having to renew it. This option would also seem to help admins with less crap to keep up with.
 
Yeah right Jon the sellers owe you much for allowing free selling for A LOT OF time. Just please let everyone keep the SAME old threads and charge monthly subscription fees whatever the amount. Waiting for this to get sorted!

My service, going over 2 years in a single thread, speaks volumes about the high quality of my work AND my reliability and integrity.

That's my problem with the 10 day system.

I agree. Takes away from consumer protection with constant new threads. Aged threads speak for themselves as far as trust level and reliability.

Closing the threads for every 10 days is no sense, there are tons of review will be in old threads. of course we can quote it, but New threads cannot show the quality and reputation of the Services, how the old thread can

WOW! This is going to be confusing as far as validating how successful someone's services has been over the months or years, validating reviews etc.. and i'm positive we will see far less services offered here.. i'm kinda bummed :(
 
In my opinion its pretty damn UNFAIR. I never scammed someone or delivered a bad work. And I ve earned a lot from WF, I appreciated, I would also donate.

BUT its really stupid that we have to pay every 10-15 days, 36$, because I dont get works every day, or every week. Sometimes I just leave the topic opened, and 1 month after someone replies.

With this change, you must let people to bump their since they have paid. And which will cause chaos.

I think its not a long term solution, I think its kind of an idea to get some more profits. The people who gets scammed, or unhappy with the provider, then read well the reviews and check the itrader.

Its that simple.

Any updates from the Admins on the 10 day rule and how to simply pay to keep sales threads open? Everyone WANTS to pay, it's a matter of the process that needs streamlining.
