I'm a buyer and want to give other buyers negative feedback as a warning not to purchase as my work has not been delivered and I have had no updates from the seller...

They are working on a way to keep existing threads open via payment, when will it happen? Let just say there working on it, sit tight.

Do not p.m me asking about this I have nothing to do with payment ect. If you have issues with payment Brandon (admin) is your point of contact.

Hoping for best Zingo!

Hope this will sort out soon!

Formerly, when a sellers thread was removed or maybe locked, one could assume that there was a problem with the service or the provider. Maybe the dude hit the lottery and was no longer offering his service. Anyone of these reasons would mean it was time to look elsewhere.

I rolled in here tonight to purchase a service from a well known provider and his newest thread was locked. So what am I to assume? Who knows what the reason is. I've no clue. Am I supposed to read the "potential scammers thread" now to see if he turned scumbag (highly unlikely with his rep and sales volume -- but always a possibility), see what I'm saying?

And as you guys know, often times there is a fair amount of work on the buyers end leading up to a purchase -- maybe KW shit or new content, you know what I mean.

Perhaps the mods that lock the threads can post a small reason why: like invoice due, scammer, etc. I mean, if we're out to protect the buyers please give us a clue.

I knew this would happen -- Its all about perception... Is a noobie (or even someone like you) going to buy from a guy whos thread has 3 posts even though hes got a bad ass service? With the perception of a just opened thread (one not knowing that he just had to create a new thread because his 10 days was up) is hurting ALL of our sales! -- Noobs to the forum, or even established guys will not take the time to research previous threads... They will see 3-4 posts on a newly created thread that a reputable seller just setup and probably not purchase!

This stinkies! I hope it gets decided upon soon...

Why am I not surprised that people who have been making thousands of dollars a month selling services on here, taking full advantage of there being NO cost until now and from this place having the least amount of fraud and scams than all other forums combined, are suddenly up in arms about having to pay anything.... If you don't agree or like it, go to any of the other places that exist and sell there. No one is stopping you, trust me on that.

I never once claimed that this is the only place that you need to sell or buy at. Nor will I ever, because I absolutely believe that there is not one place that is the end all be all place to buy and sell on the internet.

If the model we have now doesn't work out, we'll change it and adapt to the market so that we can make it work first for us from a time and resource perspective and then from a market perspective, all the while, within our means.

There are plenty of really big and expensive solutions I could apply here that would make this section bigger and better than anything in existence today. But I'm not willing to make that type of investment on my own. The amount of work, effort, and cash alone make it a daunting task. If the point of WickedFire was to make us money and nothing else, then the choice would be quite clear and that's the route I'd go. But its not. Nor will it ever be. Instead, I alluded to partnering with another, much more in-depth and professional third party service that I know of that can do just that, but also compliment our goals here and yours too. However, unfortunately for you guys and perhaps us a bit, that partnership is not absolutely inked yet. They have to accommodate us, and in order to do so, they need to make certain changes to do so. The day that they are ready to roll, that is the day it will be available here and things will really change. Their focus is purely to be a buying and selling platform and nothing more or less. They are neutral from the buyers and sellers, just like we are neutral here from all business between affs and networks and advertisers and everyone else.

Back onto this topic here, stop complaining. If you sell something and you really can't make over $100 a month from it, then this place is not for you. For everyone else that sees how this is a good deal and realizes how they can actually increase their sales volume and revenue and at the same time reduce the friction that fraud, previews and defaming from their competitors here causes.

Its not a perfect solution, and it wasn't supposed to be. Remember that. If you work WITH us then that type of environment helps everyone. If your goal is to sell bullshit and then bitch about how bad we are, then there are so many options elsewhere to choose from and you don't belong here. But if you realize that this is a good plan, and can respect the change, then you are going to certainly continue making money while providing a good business service.

For everyone else who disagrees, tell your God, because he's handling customer support right now for the people who just want to voice their stupid thoughts. I'm sure he has nothing better to do than address your opinions and concern.

Well, after a long time out away from this forum I was surprised but not shocked to see the fee application on new threads. For me $36 per thread for 10 days is not very high. It would be like renting an office from now on but an expensive one.

I think now it is time to increase the prices of services. Because now we are investing on our threads, it is time to increase the price. Obviously many of people here are making more than $1000 per month which is because they have a team, number of people all the way but for an individual worker like me it is quite difficult to make $1000 per month, sometimes $700 is even a hard task.

The good part is we wont be seeing scammers and low quality services, rehash services over an over again. But will it be a good idea if I create a thread with slight increase in price? Will I get the same potential client interested on my service? That thing I have to try out. WiFire is a great forum, I respect that and it is time to have a respectful community than before...

Thanks

Can I just say, you guys just saved me a shitload of time wading though the thousands of offers on WF? I appreciate it.

And the negative side, I had a few offers bookmarked and when I saw them closed, I immediately thought "Oh shit, this person ended up doing some shady shit and got banned or something." Wish there was a way for the admins to put in a notice on this section of the board.

If established sellers open a new thread, can it later be merged with our old thread if the mods let us reopen our old threads? I'm hesitant to open a new thread when my old one has been open for over 2 years and has a great reputation/history, but it's been closed for almost a month now and I'm getting antsy.

Or can we get links from the old threads to our new ones for the customers who have our old threads bookmarked? I guess that would need to be updated every 10 days, however, when we have to open another new thread.

Thanks for this forum, As a buyer I too request that you rethink your policy here, as like many others I search for the threads and like ones with lots of feedback. I appreciate that sellers can put in their good reviews but I prefer the original thread since you can see good and bad comments!

Thanks

No offence, just my opinion.

Maybe mods and admins are fed up of cleaning this good place, so they are taking some rest and could take a decision when they get enough rest to fight roaches.

An update would be appreciated, however.

You cannot expect them to log in every day and post updates. If I was in their place, I would be completely confused on what to do with such an amazing forum.

They have given us updates. They are still working on things so just wait. I know it's been a while and I am not a Mod, but I am waiting, and so are the others. Guess this wait will be worthwhile.

Dude,

Why you get irate. I'm not offending anyone. I just posted my opinion. I know it's a hard thing to moderate a populated forum like Wickedfire.

I have my hands in a forum as well. Though, it's not as big as Wickedfire, it's hard to maintain the spammers. So, I understand here they want to handle, spammers, additionally scammers, which is "X" times the task.

Hope you understand, everyone are curious about what's coming up.

Being a moderator you should encourage us and should intimate us. We never got any intimation from you.

I realize that this is a gay webmaster forum, but its not a moderator's responsibility to intimate you. If you wanna get intimate, that's what PMs are for.

Dear zingo,
Why did you close my thread http://www.wickedfire.com/links-seo/141215-pr2-pr4-blogposts-unique-c-class-ips.html
You should have informed me at least before closing the thread..
Being a moderator you should encourage us and should intimate us. We never got any intimation from you. I need a reason !!!!!!!!

The threads only stay open for 10 days, I don't like people demanding shit from me... You think you have big balls?

If I had a reason to close your thread you would be perma banned....

I may come back later and ban you just for grins...
