Should all companies that commission junction represents show sales the same way, or do some lag in reporting? I just set up a campaign for a new company this weekend, and I've gotten a ton of click throughs but no sales. I'm wondering if it's a crappy converting offer, or if there's a lag in reporting the sales data.

Some companies use Batch Process Transactions. That could mean delays of 1-2 days. To find out how updated their reporting is, look at the Last Batch Data Transfer Dates.

Crap. I just looked, it says "Batch Process: No" so I'm guessing that it's just not converting. Which I don't quite get, because they seem like a fairly decent merchant and all the keywords coming in are good buy keywords. Oh well, time to try a different offer.

Conversions are sometimes hard to predit. How many clicks do you give yourself before you decide if they convert or not? I remember Kieron said something like 500 clicks before you make a decision.

Are they new merchants? Do they have 3-month or 7-day EPC? They may not be accurate but can be used as a rough estimate for conversion rate if you know the average payout per conversion.

Cool, thanks. I'll give it more, I just get impatient. I'm new to the affiliate game (arbitrage went well though), so I was giving it 100 clicks. I'll give it more.

They have a decent 3 month and 7 day EPC, so I'll give it a week and see what happens.

A lot of the stats on cj take a long time to update thats why i only use it to set up campaigns that i will have up for a long time
