Connecting comps on a network

It's been forever since I've dealt with it, and not with these windows systems so I don't know if I'm just forgetting or what. I'm trying to transfer files across my network from one comp to another. I can see each computer on the network, but when prompted with the computers username and password..well...where do I find them?

I just always use ******** as the password.

Won't do you any good though, unless file/folder sharing is enabled on the hosts.

its enabled on both, I just don't know where to snag the US/PW on each from.

Just disabled password requirement for sharing, problem taken care of.
