cop steps in front of ferrari 458 and gets mad

I stand (sort of) corrected, I jumped to conclusions without the full story. I still think it's odd how the cop handled things from what I could see in the video.

But yeah, given what you posted, I'd say the guy was being a douche. I shouldn't pass judgement without being there, but my main point is the sheeple applauding state initiated aggression.

People get shot by cops for less, if it was a beater car or a minority it would have gone differently if they did the same exact thing, youtube is full of examples.

Good doc about cops: "The largest street gang in america" Google

I blame it on his parent spoiled kid thinking he is above the law. Who gives a fuck about a parking ticket if you park illegally expect to pay the price and move on. I parked in valet once and they had my Car parked up front and still got a ticket I was pissed at valet but bottom line not worth getting upset about. Don't start driving away that's just asking for trouble. I'm suprised he didn't say the line "Do you know who I am?

People get shot by cops for no reason, all of the time.

The problem is that people are okay with that.

Yeah it's so fucked up for a lot of reasons, if a cop did do something illegal or you saw a cop do something wrong, you have to report it to other cops. Where you'll experience the "blue shield" or blue code of silence.

The reason this was funny was because some rich douche learned what most of us already know or have experienced.

Best comment from the Entreprenuer.com article:

So, Julien Chabott guy created "Line Snob", an app to help folks avoid lines, because he hated waiting on line.

Yesterday, didn't want to wait while the cop was writing him a ticket. He ran over the cop's foot. Now he has a record for assaulting a cop and will likely do time.

Maybe he will write a Line Snob app for the inmates waiting on line to bugger him.

LMAO

If that's true and I hadn't done anything wrong I'd be pissed too. Not saying I'd handle it the same way, but on principle alone I'd be upset. It's not about the ticket. It's about someone infringing on my rights for no reason.

Me as well. However, again, why not talking to the officer and try to explain him the situation. You can always get mad at cops, but in the end, if you react, you will lose 100% of the time, just like this dude.

Again, it was just a ticket, he ended up in the pavement for being such an asshole.

You cant fight police officers back, end of story.

No dude, you're just clinging to one side of the extreme.

Half the people can say the cop is a govt nazi and the free little dude was fighting the good fight for the 99%ers out there.

Half the people can say he's a dumb fucking shit who should not move the car when someone puts their leg in front of it.

You can scream and shout everyone's a sheeple - but without acknowledging other side, you're just another Christian.

IMO - Of course the cop wouldn't put himself in front of the car - the dumbass kid would've then run over him. He was obviously stupid enough to roll on his foot, and that already takes some dumbshit decisions.

"I was walking around Soho, NYC today when I stumbled upon this Ferrari 458 Spider with a cop writing a ticket next to it. I started to record the situation because I thought it'd make a cool video, little did I know what I was in for. As soon as I started recording the owner of the car appeared and got in it. He slowly started moving since he refused to accept the ticket (the car was parked in a hotels valet zone and the hotel valet had the keys, I myself don't understand why the cop was giving him the ticket, it was approved by the hotel that the car was parked there.) The cop then told him to stop but he proceeded to move forward. Now at this point I believe the cops foot was under the front drivers side tire. Yet again the owner moved the car forward and apparently he somewhat ran over the cops foot (or at least that's what can be made out from everything in the video, others at the scene claimed otherwise.) This triggered the cop and he slammed his hand into the drivers window and proceed to open the door (notice how many times he bumped it into the taxi cab) and pull the driver out forcefully. The driver was then thrown on the ground and handcuffed and arrested. The owners girlfriend seen in the video is also Stephanie Pratt from the MTV hit show, The Hills. The car did suffer some damage, paint chips on the door from when the cop slammed it into the cab and some scuffs by the engine bay shown in the last scene of this video. Pretty crazy situation, I was definitely at the right place at the right time!"

“Maybe it was just his ego or his attitude, but he should have just taken the ticket instead of causing a scene like he did,” said Damian Morys, 17, who filmed the sports-car showdown.

In what parallel universe do you think you can drive the fuck away from a NYC cop that's writing you a ticket? Cop told him to stop - end of fucking story.

Welcome to Earth bitch.

Oh and I have more than a little first hand experience with NYC cops and moving violations- lutz. Rule one - Be Fucking Courteous to the Men with the badge.

Agreed. And if he busts down your door and asks you not to move while he fucks your wife, you're just asking for trouble if you try to stop him.

tl;dr just because a cop says something doesn't make it right - or even LEGAL.

What an excellent example of the "negro" when he is enraged. As seen in this video the "negro" demonstrated the strength of 3 men as he threw the gentleman driver around like a rag doll. Its not for certain, but there is a strong likely hood that "PCP" or some other narcotic was involved. This quite common for the "negro" species.

LOL wtf are guys wanking about?

The cop is clearly writing a ticket for a car that's not moving. The guy clearly saw the cop is writing a ticket and ignores it. Yes, the cop is not directly in front of the car but which cop goes in front of a car to write a ticket? So he can lean in a tap the ticket on the windshield?

The cop was near enough that ANY idiot would've known that it might run over his foot. I clearly hear the cop saying stop to the idiot. But he kept driving. Are you guys deaf?

The cop proceed to arrest the guy for assault. Nothing wrong with what I see. And for those who says the GF is hot. I guess its a matter of prespective but I got to LOL on this one.

On a personal note, please don't do this in Asia. The cop was a being nice like a puppy compared to what you get in Asia.

The driver did not have to wait around to take the ticket. He was not being detained as well so he was completely free to go. Right before the driver stepped into the car they exchanged a few words, and it was clear that there was enough room for the car to pass through without touching the officer. As soon as the engine turns on, the officer proceeded to step towards the car and lean on it. Why? From the angle that the driver in the car, it's difficult to tell if the officer was leaning on the car or under it. The only thing he remembers seeing is a clear one foot distance between the car and the officer.

It's clear that the officer was looking for trouble. He already took down the plates of the car, and was logging in the ticket. He had everything he needed to put the ticket through all while the driver had no legal obligation to stay around to receive the paper ticket. If the officer ever detained the driver and told him not to drive, then the driver wouldn't be free to walk all around and hop into his car without the officer intervening before he even opened the door.
