?

I don't see anything wrong with this.

She didn't stop, she actually drove away..
NOW they can yank out her of the car.
She resisted and refused to listen to orders.
Young urban of peace assults the cop..
Locks himself in the car, they now have to get him out.
Breaking the window is the only thing they can do.
When the van leaves for the 2nd time, shooting out the tires is what has to be done.

...

If she's OK with speeding, leaving the scene twice, and going on a high speed chase while weaving in and out of traffic... WITH kids in her van. + That sketchy fucking matress thing on top or whatever it is..

Then fuck her.

...

I'm like 99% against cops, but this was all warranted.

Funniest shit is that 1 police officer couldn't even bring that woman down, I guess the vitamins that he had eating the donuts didn't really work.

Hey, no bad mouthing the cops! They're keeping your children safe!

Except when they're shooting at them of course.

Mostly I feel bad for the kids.

If my mom was being assaulted by a cop - I'd beat the shit out of him too, irregardless.

The mom was in the wrong. She should've thought of her kids better than to act like a stupid twat. The kids acted in the capacity a kids brain would.

PS - the cop who started shooting should get fired/will get fired/someone just needs to get up on stage and yell "Obama hates black people" beside Kanye and the cop will get fired.

Blindly shooting into a van full of kids isn't warranted. Even if this was a hostage scenario and the driver was firing on the police you don't shoot into a van full of children.

I'm not saying the mother didn't react foolishly.

I noticed a comment elsewhere that the video is edited, that she was issued a citation and was free to go until the officer decided to pull her over again and force her to see a judge immediately or pay the citation on the spot.

Not sure if that's true or not, but she did pull back over immediately. At that point she wasn't trying to evade - and seemed to be confused, like she thought she was free to go.

As for the kid attacking the cop - he's reacting to a thug who intends to harm his mother. It's hard to fault him for that. If you take the badge out of the equation anyone is going to react to anyone initiating violence against their mother.

At this point the cop has shown intent to use the taser (which could easily be confused for a gun) on the kid. And then he smashes the back window, spraying glass all over her children.

Any mother would be terrified in that spot, and you'd instinctively get your kids out of harms way ASAP. Once someone initiates violence (smashing windows with a club) you don't assume they'll stop.

So she takes off, and the cops start shooting. Ignore everything up until that point and put yourself in that position. If you have your family in a car and there are people shooting at you do you stop or do you drive away as fast as possible?

She drove to a public place where she probably felt it was less likely that they were going to put 100 rounds into the vehicle and herself/children in the process - and surrendered.

Did she act irrationally? Maybe.

It'd be tough not to, especially if you come from a background where you see cops for what they are - people who recklessly initiate violence and pose a very real threat to everyone that they come in contact with - and you fear for the safety of your family.

But at no point did she initiate violence. The cops initiated violence.

Regardless of the situation, no - just no - there's no rationalization for anyone to open fire on a minivan filled with kids.

He wasn't blindly shooting...

Look at his back, he was huntched over shooting at the ground toward the tires.

He had a clear vision, his target was within a close distant, and his line of fire was well within reason.

And.. He had full control, look at his posture/body language.

NOTHING wrong with that bro.

...

It's another story if he was firing into the van's windows/above the tires. If that were the case the window would have broken, or a tailight would have done the same..

He made the right choice.

..

My mind is BLOWN that people are defending these assholes.

Bunch of urbans, no respect for the law, think they can do whatever the fuck they want.

Plus put their kids in dangerous situations.

Fuck them. Only reason I don't care about the male kid, is because he's a kid... At 14, he knows better, but still he's not an adult yet, these things will happen..

But the mother? Lock that bitch up, she deserves all this. You don't drive away from a cop two freaking times.

That says to me, something is WRONG. Good people DON'T do that, criminals do.

If I were a cop I'd wonder are these kidnapped children? Is this male her son, are they working as a team?

Are these small kids in the back are in danger..

I'm going to do whatever it takes to stop the 2 attackers as quick as possible.

...

Side note: Sure the mother might have panicked, but she refused to get out of the car to talk to them in the first place. You KNOW she's full of shit.

Side note #2: The cops didn't taze him, or shoot him with the gun. They COULD have pepper sprayed the mother, tazed her, shot her, etc. CLEARLY they were trying to keep things calm.

Is this the approved method for shooting at vehicles packed with small children?

Yeah, I'd say they were in danger - a fucking cop was shooting at the van they were sitting in.

I agree that if it were similar to a hostage situation and the cop didn't have a clear shot, then firing anyway would be silly. In this case, the cop has a very easy shot at the tires and him shooting them out shouldn't be putting the kids in danger at all.

If he were to let her escape, she would clearly be speeding through traffic, weaving at 100mph, and putting many other INNOCENT people in danger. What if other parents were driving their kids down that street, and then this woman crashes into them and kills them all in her attempt to flee from these cops? The bitch should've just taken the speeding ticket and shut the fuck up.

Bunch of urbans be surrounded by a buncha gestapo-lookin rurals and get all panicked and shit, and be like "the popo gonna eat my babies oh noes" and drive off and shit.

What YOU do, bros?

I wouldn't leave the judgement to some fat piece of shit who looks like he might keel over if he stays in that "full control" position longer than 8 seconds. Come back when American cops can do 30 squats and I'll trust him not to fall over, pull the trigger as he's off-balancing, slightly aiming it up - and getting one of those kids in the back of the head with a bullet. Anything can happen.

Easy way to make you change your mind. Would you let a cop "shoot at the tires" of a car of some dude who kidnapped your 3 kids and is driving away? No? You wouldn't risk the safety of your kids for any reason - no matter how "full control" the fat cop looks? Good - that means noone should.

PS - if you say yes to the above, you're just saying it in spite and never had kids. So yeah.
