Could someone look at my review?

Hi guys,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, or to not get bashed for posting newbie stuff ;) , but I have a site with a review in it and it converts rather badly. I was hoping for somebody who would spend a few minutes of his lifetime to look over it and maybe tell me what I could change to make it better?

Link is [[removed]]

Don't mind the mailing list thing at the right, I know it looks rather stupid...
Also I wonder if it's a good thing to use all this bold and underlined tags, oh well.

Hoping for your help, experienced marketers! :)

The text is way off balance, and underlining makes them look like links, people will try to click them. Just do bold or italics.

Also, go to CSS Tutorial and learn how to use css and your life will be easier.

yeah. wow. that sucks. Be sure to put anything you want them to click above the fold.

Also, take out that "From the desk of" shit.

And definitely stop all that underline stuf like jryan said.

As far as trying to pre-sell the product... Stop doing what you are doing and start over. Maybe a different headline that grabs the visitor's attention right away like using a threat and solution from the vendors homepage, ie..

You can be sued for downloading via Bittorrent

It also looks like you aren't utilizing the theme very well. Maybe choose a different layout or something.

Just remember, when you are doing a pre-sell be sure to ask yourself, "do I belive this?"

Be sure not to get discouraged though - keep at it!

Also, maybe don't cloak your link and go ahead and let it show the vendor's address in the address bar. If you're truly reviewing the product, people will be more likely to believe you if the address bar actually goes to the vendor.

delete everything BUT your summary.
Use bullet points.

Actually specify what they're signing up with INSIDE the sign up box and make that button say something.

Hi,
thank you all for the hard, but inspiring advice!
First of all, I removed all the underline tags.

Also, take out that "From the desk of" shit.
I got this from the copy of the "Rich Jerk" I got somewhere :)

But there is a reason why I chose this headline - Actually, I'm for example targeting the keywords "torrent privacy review", so that's the reason for having such a structure - Building up trust and so on.
It also looks like you aren't utilizing the theme very well. Maybe choose a different layout or something.
Maybe I should chose something like this:
wickedwpthemes.com ?
Actually specify what they're signing up with INSIDE the sign up box and make that button say something.
Difficult, with this theme and a free mailing list service (Mailchimp)...
The whole mailing list is senseless anyway for this project.
Also, maybe don't cloak your link and go ahead and let it show the vendor's address in the address bar. If you're truly reviewing the product, people will be more likely to believe you if the address bar actually goes to the vendor.
Would be possible without problem. Normally, the reader can't see this URL but is redirected from another, and gets the cookie stuffed on his hard drive instantly - It only makes it easier to track how many people are actually clicking on the outgoing link.

delete everything BUT your summary.
Use bullet points.
So, if someone clicks and wants to know the "shocking truth" about the service (this is what they see on Google), it's better to keep it short?
How do I build trust then, or how can I presell in general?

Other sites that "review" stuff also work with very long pages such as this one: Forex Robots Review | Top Expert Advisors Reviews
So, I don't know what to do now...

The 5 Stars image is out of place. Move it to the summary and put some text that says something like "Overall Rating: 5 out of 5 stars"

Wow, guys - It might be to early to judge it, but since I made the small improvements you suggested, conversion rate has gone through the roof.

Thanks !!!
