Could this phpbay niche be profitable?

Some guy was selling his golf ball website business on bizbuysell for $60K a couple of months ago.

I'm going to go with "profitable".

LOL. And I'm going to sell my site about how to reduce pocket lint for $61K. Just because it's for sale doesn't mean it's profitable. Did it sell is the question you have to ask.

I bought phpbay pro a few days ago using revenue I have made from my website. So basically it made it free to me.

Step 1 - If you're looking for a profitable phpbay niche, you might want to figure out what people are searching for on eBay first as it's more likely to convert.

Step 2 - Enter the same URL from above into Google's keyword tool to get approximate search volume.

Step 3 - Change the match type to "exact" and sort by search volume.

Step 4 - Download all keywords into a text file and remove the exact match brackets (cntrl-h).

Step 5 - Copy and paste your list into a batch domain check tool.

Step 6 - Check to see what's available and register anything worthwhile with your favorite registrar.

If nothing is available, try adding common keyword modifiers to your domains such as cheap, buy, shop, store, find, etc.

Step 7 - Set up shop.

very good list- however I'd add check the exact match in google SERPS ("key word") - look at the NUMBER of results as well as the number of backlinks, and indexed pages that your potential competitors have to decide if you can knock them off.

I know a ton of cell phones are purchased on ebay, given the millions of results in google that have been around for years and the relatively low comission on a cell phone sale I stick to other niches.
