I got a 400gb portable hard drive from staples for like $59 with free shipping. They had a 640gb external hard drive for the same price. I just use it for backup.

It's $79.99 but you just get a coupon off ebay or you can find one on google for a few dollars and you get $25 off $75.

Eh? Fallout 3 is a pretty sweet looking game if you got a rig that can run it maxed out or near too it. Farcry too can also look amazing when your pushing it all the way. Realistic, maybe not but about as close as you can get right now.

Yeah, what BigWill said. Enclosure is the right word, lol. It's what I do with my old hard drives all the time.

Yeah I personally hate Maxtor drives, I had got 2 120GB drives from them awhile back and had to get warrenty on 1 of them 4 different times, each time they said they sent me a new drive but inside of 2 months the drive blew up again, as where the other drive ran just fine and is still going strong.

Yeah had a few crash on me as well, it seems like the bigger the storage space gets the more likely the drive is to crash, I don't read up much about the technologies but hopefully what you say "Solid State Drives" will help to improve that.
