This is 5 minutes ago. I pay like 60 bucks a month. There are no alternatives in the area. I love my life. That is all.

And yeah, i've tried all the servers, and a different website to test the speed, same or similar results.

How about direct TV Satellite and DSL instead of cable paying 60 for that service and doesnt matter what service is in the area as it goes over satellite

I used to work for Charter. We had an enormous volume of calls from the state of Texas. Reps always told us the infrastructure is so huge, it will always be prone to poor speed, and shoddy performance issues.

I'm assuming you're in Texas, or nearby. Those suggesting satellite aren't far off. The rate that place is growing your just fucked for alternatives.

Comcast is fast, but monitors your traffic types and will cut you off instantly if you do 250GB of traffic in a month

Doesn't Dallas have RoadRunner?

PM me if you have TWC as your cable company. I can help you out, it costs about 100ish to fix permanently :).

School :(...

My home comcast connection is usually 33.

Geez! The fastest available here is 10mb, and I've got the 8mb package, which after all the taxes & fees, is $61 per month. It's another $10/month to get the 10mb package, figured it wasn't worth it for just a 2mb increase. Now if it was an upgrade to 15-20mb I might think about it.
