Big news came in the other day but I wanted to get confirmations first before posting anything.

It's official now, and WickedFire is the first to report on this!

CPA Empire (OptInRealBig) shocked the industry and the overpriced law team over at Fox NewsCorp's Myspace in court by having the judge DENY MySpace's motion for a Preliminary Injunction and APPROVING CPA Empire's Motion to Compel Arbitration over Myspace's objections.

The two affiliates who were also involved were able to settle for just $10,000 each. So they definitely got off lucky compared to what they were up against.

Just goes to show you that just because you're being sued by a giant corporation, you can still beat it if you try hard enough and don't back down from them. This also shows that just because you are being sued, doesn't make you a bad company to work with.

So congrats to the CPA Empire team and Scott Richter (the person named in the suit) for the win. I know it's not over yet, but it's definitely cool to see the smaller guys kicking the bigger guys ass once in a while. A rarity it seems in this industry.

Here's the court documents that we were able to obtain as proof.

You can of course expect to hear the final outcome here at WickedFire as soon as the news comes our way.

Before you contact me, you should read the damn document first, that's why I posted it, not so you can IM or PM me asking if it's true or what exactly happened. Seriously people, use your common sense first please.

Hey Jon, Doesn't this make you a bit of a hypocrite after all the rude and misinformed information you have posted about EDebitPay. They are being sued by the FTC, yet you say here it is OK to work with someone who is being sued, while calling EDebitPay "idiots". And EDebitPay is also the "smaller guy" fighting the "bigger guy". Oh yeah, I'm writing about EDebitPay, so I must work for them. Do you work for CPA Empire?

I also suck cock for a living, but it is true, I do work for EDebitPay.

A bit of logic could have saved you from looking like a dumbass.

First, EDebitPay is completely separate from CPAEmpire. Second, the reason that CPAEmpire was being sued was dramatically different than what went on with EDebitPay. Lastly, you probably do work for EDebitPay as you've only got 10 posts and one of them is in a thread that has nothing to fucking do with EDEBITPAY.

Go back to your hole.

Even if it is a minor blow in the grand scheme of things it's always good to see Rupert Murdoch losing something!

MySpace affiliate marketing is old news. Funny thing how large corporations try to sue people for fuck ups on their end.
