I was told 15 minutes ago that Craigslists Canada site was shut down. I've looked around as much as I can for news on this, and the few articles I do find are pretty bland.

I've read the notice half a dozen times now, and I am so confused.
Why would they take down their own site for a TOU violation, and threaten to sue themselves?!
I'm assuming there is more to this than I am seeing, such as Craigslist sites outside of the US being something like a franchise, but I don't know.
Going through their Wiki entry, I don't see anything about a division of business like this, or any info on how they operate outside of the US.
So now I'm racking my brain... Does anyone have any ideas as to what the fuck is going on?
