Credit card rebills and consumer complaints...

New poster here. High risk merchant accounts are typically aggregated with very low chargeback-history clients, to spread the risk. High risk merchant guys who run 5 % typically have a very liberal refund policy, and don't hit 5%.
High risk is simply a category of merchant who historically isn't in business very long, usually 2-5 years at a stretch. Adult is high risk because of the intial Rebill shedding of clients. Merchants who have very high chargebacks on first time customers usually go ACH or Check-21, then migrate the rebill clients who pay onto credit card.
I do alternative payment, ACh/Ch21, as well as high risk credit card accounts, and have been doing so for 10 years. Ask me what you would like to know. I DO DEAL WITH MERCHANTS BELOW 50K per month transaction volume.

Most people looking for high risk merchant accounts are not doing so because they can't get a standard merchant account. There looking for them to allow them to operate certain kind sites(porn, gambing, etc..) You can easily get a merchant account with interchange fees with little to no history

5% for a high risk merchant? LOL Try 25% of transaction total.
I've been shopping around.

I've seen higher 30-50, 5% was just a number to express the difference. There the ones who allow this rebill type of things to continue. Hush money for visa/mc, etc..

Actually, anything over 10-18% and you should shop elsewhere. Fees are based on volume, CB risk and a few other factors. Dont forget, there will also be a rolling reserve in place to handle these credits and CB's (Account history can alter this down the road) This can be as much as 10-20% and can be held from 1-3 months. These are all factors that must be considered before rolling out offers to CPA networks or doing promotion on a large scale.

I have received quite a few PM's from poeple that are moving from affiliate to advertiser and want to get offers on the various networks. One thing that most of these guys have not done, is reserach the customer service aspect of recurring offers like Acai, Grants, etc. Before you even bill your first transaction, you need to know what the successful advertisers are doing in their customer service back ends. Buy their products, call and email their customer service department and figure out how they handle credits. How agressive are they in telling the customer "You agreed to the term and you must pay". You need to learn how handle credits, what they do to fight a charge back, how they handle "Return to Sender" product returns, etc, etc.

Find the successful advertisers and pick apart their businesses and you too can have wildly successful offers! We have the merchat account piece and the call center piece (if you want it) done for you.

5% for High risk is what we pay. If you're paying 25% then you're nuts. We do rebilling offers and are under the CB threshold. We win 80% of CBs also.
