A few weeks ago I started something just for shits and giggles to track referring traffic from Facebook. Right now its pretty basic but it can give you a lot of quick information such as hits from photos, profile, apps, searches, etc. But then break them down: How many clicks came from each app? And which application traffic converts best.
The other awesome thing about this system is the ease of expansion, adding a new tracking rule takes literally 1 minute.
My next big idea is to add basic scrapping to the application. That way you can not only see how many clicks are coming from users profile pages, but all of their demographics as well
