Custom firefox/explorer toolbar

do you know if it's easy to create a custom toolbar with just links inside?
i saw there are some free services around but i imagine they add their links.

Try this solution. I used it to build several money making toolbars and it works great.
It's completely free also. they make their money by adding a google powered search box to every toolbar and sharing revenue from ad clicks with google.

You can customize basically everything from toolbar appearance to links, menus, etc.

I have previously seen Create a Custom Toolbar or App | Conduit which allows you to create a toolbar using your content. I haven't used it myself though, just remember seeing it a while back

Firefox plugin files, the .xpi files, are just .zip files with a different extension. So you can unzip the file and look at the contents. So go find a shitty simple toolbar plugin and open it up and you should be good to be.
