From what I have read through this thread..the OP seems like just a troll or a plain dickhead. I hope this crap doesn't drag on any longer.

They are loosing money because you are promoting?
W T F?

Normally it should work like this:

MERCHANT - 5$ -> AM Company - 1$ -> You

So for every promotion you do, they should be in the green, and the better you are, the better off they are.

This statement then:

They can't afford to payout at this rate anymore they're losing tons of money and to stop promoting their site
is utter bullshit.

This to me appears to be the "classic" boohoo fishing expidition. Some jackass feels sorry for this jackass, thereby exposing his cashcow to the crybaby. Pleas close this thread - snot bubbles do not look good on wf.

For sure.... this is pathetic...

All them posts and you dont know shit? What the fuck you been doin?

At first I feel like saying "well, why didn't you do this, this, and that? Why didn't you diversify? etc."

However a few years back a similar thing happened to me when I was making all my money off off one thing- PPC and the only PPC shut me down for violating TOS ( It was my fault for all the free traffic though, lol). I just went back to my job ( a seasonal job that always laidoff but always welciomed back with raises and bonuses) for 1 year and regrouped. I found 3-4 completely different ways to make money, both handling actual product and not, residual and one time, and made a good mix of things and recovered. Now if any one avenue shut down, I wouldnt feel it much. and if EVERYTHING shut down tomorrow, I am confident enough in my skills that I would probably live off credit cards and/or reserves until things came around again, even if it took a year or 2.

Well, I apologize about my behavior yesterday, just being retarted. I don't really care I knew it was going to be over sometime anyway. It's not the end of the world, and even if I don't succeed in affiliate marketing, it isn't really a big deal. Some people are good at some things some are not, just gotta find something else. Although I don't really like to do anything else besides internet marketing I don't even play video games at all. So, I'll always be around this business, browsing forums hearing about new ways people are making money or whatever, even if I succeed or not.

*emp* -

I'm kinda confused about that as well, only thing I thought of is since they're paying me for free signups, and the free signups aren't converting to premium memberships. That's how the merchant makes their money is when users sign up for a membership don't they?

Scottdaman -

I'm hoping that they'll be back maybe they'll try something else, or revise their current plan.

If you are just going to be lazy and not do anything with what you have in place do us a favor and punch yourself in the throat and never speak of this again.

Speaking of sequential liability...

I don't know if it's a company policy or not, but I had a situation where an advertiser stiffed Neverblue Ads (aff) on commission for leads I generated (almost $10k) and they paid me out of their own pocket. Quality cats.

Dude I know so many dating sponsors, you have no idea. I know of a few high paying private ones that are taking on new people right now.

How much were you getting paid per free signup? I might be able to find a close match for ya

PM me if you like

This is what he wants.... to find new shit without having to do any work.

Props to everyone willing to hand out nugs that make ya $$ :-D

Well, I got some good news. The network I work with, the AM is leaving and put in a good word to the owners of the company and they're going to continue to let me promote a couple of their sites except they have to lower my payout a little. They said that I was the top performer with the most free ---> paid conversions and for now I'm going to be their only affiliate! They said some peoples sales weren't converting welll enough and they still had to payout which is how they were losing money.

Also thanks to everybody who's trying to help me find more affiliate programs

U - Leverage the fact that you are the top affiliate and set up accounts at the other networks ;)

FFS Finally... at least this pussy whining fest can end

Be glad you're making some money again... cause you were fucked...

Invest in something smart

Since you claim to be a newbee, let me remind or teach you something you may want to think about. One of the benefits of using an established affiliate network is their ability to screen advertisers and manufacturers, and to ensure you are paid for your traffic. Yes there is always a cost to this service, but as you have experienced, there is also a cost for going direct with a less reliable advertiser.
Working with hundreds of different advertisers daily, we review and reject far more than we accept so it is not an easy task. It is especially difficult when you really like the offers they have. But that is when you have to have your business principles over ride your emotions to get the quick dollar. I have had several of my close firends be stiffed for hundreds of thousands of dollars for promoting great offers from bad advertisers. if you would like some pointers on what i look for, feel free to reach me to discuss-

But I would rely on other peoples expertise for advertiser relations, while you are developing your own expertise as an affilaite.
